What to expect.

This is a safe and exciting way to experience both scuba and the underwater world.

We will begin with a class theory lesson where you will learn about the equipment and safety of diving. We will then get fitted into the gear then head to the reserve. Once we are at the dive site, we will do a final check and make sure everyone is feeling ready for the dive. 

In shallow water, we will learn how to breathe and how to use the equipment. there are some safety skills we will learn before heading to deeper water to explore the underwater environment. After the dive, we will return back to our dive center go over a debriefing.

You want to allow 4.5 hours for this experience.

 

Just a few questions...

To take part in this experience you MUST be able to swim to a medium level and feel confident in the sea. You need to have experience snorkeling. If you have no previous experience with snorkeling, join our Guided Snorkel Experience first, this will give you the added confidence to participate in Step 2 - the Try Dive Experience!

• Minimum age of 10 years

• Must be able to speak and understand English fluently. 

 

Are you Medically fit to dive?

It is very important you have a thorough read through this. If you answer YES to any of the medical questions, you might need to have a doctor sign you off to say you are all good to dive. You will be signing this form with us on the day and if an evaluation is needed but not provided, you will be unable to continue with the course. However, you do not answer YES to any of the conditions, you will not need a doctor's evaluation.

• The Try Dive Experience is subject to availability and is first-come, first-served on scheduled dates.

• All scuba equipment is included in the price.

• Those intoxicated or under the influence of drugs will not be permitted to complete the Try Dive Experience.

• This course is a scuba dive experience only - it does not certify you to dive without a qualified instructor.

• We guarantee the systems are in place to offer you the ultimate Try Dive Experience. However, we can’t guarantee your personal level of confidence in the water. You must be able to swim to a basic level to get the most out of this experience.

• Any cancellation decisions due to the weather are to be made by us. We have access to accurate weather forecasting information and have 30 years of experience with local marine conditions. Your safety is our priority.

• Please make sure you leave at least 24 hours after your Try Dive before flying.
